An Electrologist and brow and waxing specialist since 1970, Barbara brings a level of expertise in Permanent Hair Removal and brow shaping rarely seen in the beauty industry. She began her career managing salons and conducting training for Carol Block, whose mother was the storied Ruth Young Block, a Chicagoland beauty expert. Barbara opened her own salon in 1980 and later became a partner with Kimberly Hood to create Studio 21 Salon & Day Spa.
